Eggplant ( Sayur Terong )

Aku sangat suka sayur terong.... enak banget... mumpung masih tinggal di negara tropis & masih gampang menemukan sayuran & buah2an tropis, banyak-banyak lah makan sayuran & buahan nya... hahaha.. ntar kalau sudah tinggal di eropa bisa2 air liur sampai menetes gara2 memikirkan sayur terong, pare, buat rambutan, durian, buat lengkeng, dll yang biasa nya gampang sekali di temukan di indonesia & akan sangat sulit sekali di temukan di Eropa, walaupun ada yang menjualnya itupun tidak banyak dan harga nya sangat mahal !!! Yaaa ampuuun...

Kali ini aku masak sayur terong a la suku Dayak Kalimantan ( yang di dalam hutan lho ya.. bukan yg sudah agak modern ) , biasanya salah satu masakan kesukaan mereka adalah terong bakar. nah karna peralatan dapur tidak lengkap makanya mereka membakar langsung sayuran / ikan di atas api hampir sama dengan kebiasaan memasak orang Irian ( yang di dalam hutan juga lho ya.. hehe ) tetapi masakan ku ini sudah di modifikasi a la Papa saya... hahaha... kalau masakan asli nya masakan tidak menambahkan terasi, nah sedangkan di resep masakan ku ini di tambahkan terasi.. kalau misalnya kalian mencari masakan ini di kalimantan ( di resto, rumah makan ) pasti tidak ada yang menjual & membuat, kalau sampai ada yang jual artinya orang tersebut sudah membaca blog aku ini. karna saya survey tidak ada yang mengenal masakan "terong bakar" di kalimantan kota. tapi kalau di tanyakan ke penduduk di dalam hutan nya mereka pasti tahu ! I Love Borneo.

I like Eggplant much ! ... so Yummy ... As long as i live here in Tropical country & still easy to get all kind of tropical vegetables & tropical fruits, so, i will consume them a lot.. hahahaha... because, if i stay in erope already, all of tropical vegetables & fruits will hard enaugh to found, even i only thinking about it, it could make me drooled. LOL. All kind of tropical vegetables & fruits it so easy to found in indonesia and vise versa in europe, even u can find them in europe, they are expensive enaugh, Gessss !!!!

These time i'm going to cook the eggplant a la Dayak's tribe ( Tribe of Kalimantan/Borneo ), one of many favorit food of them is Grilled Eggplant, because in forest they doesn't have complete kitchen appliances enaugh, so, grilled is one of many ways to cook there, the way they cook is almost same with Irian Jaya peoples. but i will cook grilled eggplant a la my dad which is already modification. the native cuisine it's not added "Terasi" whereas for my cuisine i add " Terasi " and also union, and chilli for spicy taste. If you guys go to Kalimantan and looking for these cuisine there then you can't find it. but if you can find people who sell these cuisine in their restorant they must be already read my Blog, because i was survey that they don't know about these cuisine yet there ( in Kalimantan's modern life ), but if you ask about these cuisine with indigenous of dayak then they must be know ! I love Borneo.
